Arrival on foot
From the hiking parking lot on the Tschengla/Buerserberg, a beautiful, approximately 2.5 km long winter hiking trail leads you directly up to us at the FUCHSBAU. With less than 400 meters of elevation gain, pleasantly distributed along the route, the hike is easily manageable for everyone.
And for the return journey: If there's enough snow, be sure to bring a sled – that will make the trip home another highlight!
Alternatively, you can take the new Loischkopf cable car to the middle station and walk the last 300 meters to us.
For selected events in winter, we offer a shuttle service from the valley station of the new Loischkopf cable car to our FUCHSBAU and back.
Hiking, biking & enjoying in summer
When the alpine fields are in bloom, the Brandnertal valley transforms into a paradise for hikers and nature lovers. A variety of hiking trails, ranging from leisurely to challenging, lead directly to the FUCHSBAU (Fox Den).
A special highlight for action fans: the Brandnertal Bike Park , which runs right past our house. With its various lines, trails, and jumps, it's one of Austria's most popular downhill tracks – perfect for beginners and pros alike.
